Rai Man

$ 100

Kulungi Rai man near his village in remote, far northern Bhojpur District. This man was one of the few people in the village who had seen Westerners before. This was an extremely remote area and the people were reputed to be dangerous, although there was no indication that this was the case. The man’s clothing is largely, if not entirely, homespun from the local plant source for linen.
